Robotic Arm Integration, Turn-Key Solutions
Offering complete Integration Solutions
Overview
AB Controls offers turn-key integrated solutions based on several types of robotic arms.
Applications could range from laboratory automation to light manufacturing
automation. These robotic arms cover various ranges of capacities which make them suitable
for specific applications. Also if you have decided on a certain robotic arm and
you are looking for an integrator to help you with your project we can help
since most robotic arms use the same basic principles.
Robotic Arms can save money and labor. They can bring down production and
test costs. However, they need to be integrated properly. You need the right end
of arm tooling. You need the right guarding. You need the right software and the
right I/O to make a robotic arm achieve its promised efficiency. In short you
need the right integration.
We can use our automation and integration software
Focus
for your application or use LabVIEW
or a custom solution based on VB, or the .NET framework. Choice is yours. We are
also avid PLC developers offering a range of industry standard PLC's from
Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Omron, Opto22, Koyo, etc.

Kawasaki Robotic Arms
Axes: 6 standard (7 optional)
Payload: (2 to 60 kg)
Robot Arm Type: Articulated
Applications: Material handling, arc
welding, sealant dispensing, clean room operation, and washing.
Basic Description: The Kawasaki F Series
design is a direct response to our customers’ needs. There are 17
configuration variations that perform a wide range of applications including
material handling, arc welding, sealant dispensing, clean room operation,
and washing. The modular construction allows the customer to select from a
wide variety of robot models and arm combinations for various reaches and
payloads. This modular construction also allows for easy modification of
existing F Series robots, by using common components. Due to their light
weight and use of high output, high efficiency motors, the F Series is
capable of moving at high speeds, which significantly decreases cycle times
and increases productivity. The installation space requirement is very
small, yet, with its wide range of motion, the work envelope is
exceptionally large. The extremely slim arm construction allows the F Series
robot to operate in confined areas that would otherwise be inaccessible to
more bulky robots.
